Focus Timer

A calm little timer for body-doubling. Pick a length, press start, and we'll do the thing together — with a nudge when you need one.

10:00

Pick a length and let's go.

Tip: put your phone down, screen up. I'll count. You just do the thing.

Is focus the problem, or getting started?

The 60-second quiz tells them apart and points you at the free tool that matches, instead of guessing.

What the Focus Timer is for

Open-ended work is hard to start and harder to stop. A visible, finite countdown gives the task edges, which is often the difference between beginning and not.

When to use it

How it works

Pick 5, 10, 15 or 25 minutes and begin. The countdown does the timekeeping so you don't have to hold it in your head — and finishing the timer counts as finishing, regardless of how much got done.
